Tyler is a transplant from Arizona who met his wife Nicole, a Spokane native, while studying Economics and Political Science at Brigham Young University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School, during which time he taught economics at Harvard College and clerked with the Attorney General’s Office in Spokane. Tyler also had the unique opportunity to intern at the White House as Domestic Policy Council. Following law school Tyler spent four years practicing environmental law in Phoenix, AZ, before moving his family back to Spokane.
Here in Spokane, Tyler served as General Counsel to the Diamond Rock Construction family of companies, handling their supplier and subcontractor contracts, real estate transactions, labor and employment law, business entity formation and management, landlord/tenant matters, construction litigation, and general business and insurance issues.
Tyler will continue to handle a variety of civil litigation matters with McNeice Wheeler. Tyler is licensed in the State of Washington and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and Spokane County Bar Association.
Tyler is an active member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, where he has worked to promote religious liberty. Tyler also is an active member of his church and enjoys working with the Boy Scouts of America. He loves spending time with his family hiking and camping in the beautiful Washington outdoors.
