Position: Rule 9 Intern – Gonzaga University School of Law
Joseph (Joe) Sullivan was born in the Washington, D.C. area and raised in central Pennsylvania until attending West Virginia University to begin his undergraduate studies. Joe then transferred to Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. Joe is currently in his second year of law school at Gonzaga University School of Law.
During his undergraduate studies, Joe was a charter member of a Criminology Honors Society, and did an extensive internship under his Stepfather, who practices criminal law in Pennsylvania.
This experience and guidance reaffirmed Joe’s desire to practice law, and led him to begin applying to law schools. Although Joe still has interest in the criminal realm, law school and internship experience in Gonzaga’s Elder Law Clinic has sparked a very strong interest in civil legal issues.
In his free time, you can usually find Joe at the gym lifting weights, at a concert, or watching sports.
Joe is an avid fan of the West Virginia University Mountaineers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Baltimore Orioles, and Miami Dolphins.
