Alisha Myers – Legal Intern

Ms. Myers grew up in the country on Long Lake in Nine Mile Falls, WA and attended the Oaks a Classical Christian Academy in Spokane Valley for high school. She decided to move to the big city go to Seattle Pacific University for college where she received her BA in Communications and a minor in Business with the goal of eventually going to law school. Alisha spent her summers in high school and throughout her undergraduate years working for the City of Spokane as a manager at the local city pools.

In law school Alisha has found a passion for Women’s advocacy. She became the president of the Women’s Law Caucus her 2L year and has also served on the board of Students of Survivors Advocacy. She also has taken an interest in Intellectual Property and has been selected to join as a competing member for the 2016-2017 Saul Lefkowitz National Trademark Moot Court team (“SAUL”). Long term Alisha would like to focus on Intellectual Property law, specifically Trademark and Copyright law.

Ms. Myers has been an intern for the last year at Unemployment Law Project where she has been able to represent claimants in hearings and appeals. In her free time Alisha like to hike, backpack, travel, water ski or just read in a coffee shop.
