Heywood “Woody” Horn was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended the University of Tampa where he developed an interest in law. He played baseball for the school for two years before transferring to the University of South Carolina where he majored in economics. Woody graduated from the University of South Carolina in December of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He decided to attend law school to pursue his interest the legal system and is currently in his second year at Gonzaga University School of Law.
Prior to attending Gonzaga University School of Law, Woody worked as a legal assistant at McCoy Law Office in Johns Island, South Carolina. He developed a strong interest in personal injury and product liability law and a desire to help those who have been wrongfully injured. Following his first year of law school, Woody interned at Cleary Law Office in Columbia, South Carolina. He assisted the firm by conducting research in the areas of homicide, jury charges, and witness impeachment. There, he confirmed his desire to represent clients in civil suits. This past Spring, Woody was an extern for the Honorable Kevin Korsmo at the Washington State Court of Appeals, District III. Following law school, Woody plans on enrolling in a Master of Business Administration program while providing excellent legal services to the greater Spokane area.
In his free time, you will find Woody on the golf courses around the Spokane area or watching his beloved Atlanta Braves attempt to make it to the playoffs.
